FRANK M. HAND

Frank McKinley Hand, 69, of the 2700 block of Elliott Ave., a retired welder, died Sept. 7, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Hand was born in Richlands, Va. He had retired from N.N.S.Y. after 32 years. He was the widower of Elsie Mae Hand and was a member of Broadmoor Church of Christ, Chesapeake.

Survivors include a daughter, Delores Hand; five sisters including his twin sister, Frances Barthlein, Gladys Roseland, Ethel Kay, Ruth Holloway and Joanne Smith, all of Chesapeake; two brothers, Edward P. Hand of Portsmouth and William L. Hand of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, Michael Kennedy of Groton, Conn., Aaron-Michael Kennedy of Korea and Robert Hand of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
