Lionel Wesley Cranmore, 73, died Sept. 7, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Cranmore was born in Deatsville, Ala. He had retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years and retired from the Post Office, Virginia Beach. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Cranmore; a sister, Othie Campbell of Ala.; and two brothers, Jim Cranmore of Ala. and John Cranmore of La.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. The family will receive friends at 703 Lester St., Chesapeake. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
