RUTH B. BRUNO

Ruth B. Bruno, 81, of the 5300 block of Marion Lane, a retired schoolteacher with the City of Norfolk, died Sept. 7, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Bruno was a native of South Norfolk, Va. She was the widow of Alphonse H.L. Bruno Sr. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. She was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and was a former member of the Junior Womens Club of Norfolk.

Survivors include five daughters, Ann B. Deaton of Chesapeake, Catherine B. Wishnosky of Virginia Beach, Mary B. Termini of Colonial Heights, Va., Virginia B. Bowden of Tabb, Va., and Marian B. Forrest of Chesapeake; three sons, Dr. Al Bruno Jr. of Virginia Beach, J. Arthur Bruno of Midlothian, Va., and Frank A. Bruno of Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church by Father Anselm Over. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. A Christian Wake service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
