I'm impressed!
Oliver North can spit a stream of water 10 feet across a room (news photo, Aug. 30).
If North is elected to become a member of that august body in Washington we call Congress, I'll rest better at night knowing we have such a weapon on our side.

The picture of Oliver North (Aug. 30) convinced me he has missed his calling.
With his apparent capacity for be-ing long-winded as shown by his being able to squirt water 10 feet through the gap in his teeth, I suggest that he volunteer to help the firefighters out West contain the forest fires and leave the running for senator to those more qualified to keeping their mouths shut unless they have something important to say.
