Kashima Omari Thurston of the 400 block of Cobblewood Bend died Sept. 7, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a Southern Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her parents, Anita Collingwood Thurston and Eric Thurston; a brother, Hashim O. Thurston of the home; maternal grandparents, Ene and Augustus Collingwood of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; paternal grandparents, John H. and Mary Thurston of Maryland; two aunts, Theresa Collingwood Morris of St. Croix and Dondeillia Thurston Johnson of Virginia Beach; and a host of aunts and uncles.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
