Roswell P. Ethridge, 63, of the 4000 block of Ben Franklin Lane, a retired AVCM, died Sept. 8, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Ethridge was born in Hinsdale, N.H. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 29 years, was a former command master chief of Fighter Wing One, Oceana, and a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Helen E. Ethridge; a son, Randy Ethridge of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Joyce Whitney of Marlboro, Vt., and Louise Bonski of Ashulot, N.H.; three brothers, Francis Ethridge of Winchester, N.H., James Ethridge of Ashulot, N.H., and Richard Ethridge of Tucson, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Christina Ethridge and Anthony Smith of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Pittman. Friends may join the family at the funeral home following the service.
