Augustus Davis of the 2600 block of Waverly Way, a retired custodian, died Sept. 8, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Davis was born in Nashville, N.C. He retired from the Naval Air Station, was an Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Marie M. Davis.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Davis of New York; a niece; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. Family and friends will assemble at the home of Nancy C. Mangum, 4601 Mayflower Road (Apt. 10K), Norfolk, at noon Monday for processional to the gravesite and there after the services.
