The City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday on the electoral plan and reapportionment.
The hearing will begin after the 2 p.m. regular council meeting concludes in council chambers of the City Hall building.
Citizens are invited to address the council concerning the city's current borough boundaries and system of allowing voters citywide to elect the seven borough representatives.
This issue was put before voters in an advisory referendum last May.
A second public hearing on the matter is scheduled at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 in the council's chambers. by CNB
