COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

Each year, college-bound students face the dilemma of how to pay for tuition, room and board, text books and lab fees.

However, there are more than 375,000 funding sources available to these students, and more than 80 percent of the funds do not depend on family need or high grades. According to a report by the National Commission on Student Financial Aid, more than $6.6 billion of this funding goes uncollected.

An academic funding publication, updated for 1994, is available. To receive it, send a No. 10 self-addressed, double-stamped envelope, plus $2 for handling, to the National Academic Funding Administration, 26 Coe Drive, Suite 1300, Durham, N.H. 03824. by CNB
