A segment of Salem High School's sophomore class will participate in the Southern Regional Education Board's ``High Schools That Work'' program, the nation's first large effort to combine challenging academic courses and modern vocational studies.
Each student in the program will take English, biology, math, keyboarding and communications technology, which will be taught by a team of teachers who will plan integrated projects to link all the subject areas. by CNB
