Olive Toler Hogshire, 96, of Virginia Beach died September 10, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hogshire was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the widow of Leigh G. Hogshire.
She was a volunteer at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters for many years.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Dorothy H. Harper and her Husband John P. of Norfolk, Va; a Nephew; Thomas C. Hurst, III and his wife Nancy of Virginia Beach, a Great Niece; Terry H. Haisten and her Husband Corky of Virginia Beach, Va., a Great Nephew; Leigh G. Hurst and his wife Anne of Blacksburg, Va.; 2 grandchildren, John P. Harper, Jr. and Penny H. Meredith; 6 great-grandchildren, Harper Meredith, Peter Meredith, III, Susan Harper, Elizabeth Harper, Lauren C. Haisten, and Michael H. Haisten; and companions Evelyn Wise and Faye Neely.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday September 13, 1994 in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery by The Rev. Tommy Reynolds. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road chapel is handling the arrangements.
