MARY J. TURNER

Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Jordan Turner, 65, of Old Myrtle Road died September 9, 1994, at her residence.

Mrs. Turner was a native of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Nolan and Ruth Norfleet Jordan. She was the widow of Roy Turner. Mrs. Turner was retired from St. Regis Paper Company and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister: Edith J. Worrell of Franklin; five brothers: Merritt Jordan of Baltimore, Robert Jordan and William Jordan, both of Suffolk, John Jordan of West Point and Garland C. Jordan of Hampton; nieces and nephews and a faithful cat, Mollie.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
