Luther Miller Copenhaver, 80, died Monday, Sept. 12, 1994.
A native of Radford, Va., Mr. Copenhaver graduated from Virginia Tech. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He owned the Horton Insurance Agency in Radford until his retirement.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Radford, the Radford Rotary Club, the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Buchanan Copenhaver; three daughters, Barabara Mostiler, Mary Pattie and Susan Lucas; brother, William Copenhaver; sister, Mary Waldron; and 11 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Burial Park. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
