SUE W. GRIFFIN

Sue Mabel Welborn Griffin of the 6100 block of Knotts Creek Lane, died Sept. 12, 1994, in a residential care center.

Mrs. Griffin, a native of High Point, N.C., was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth R. Griffin; two nephews, Joseph Parker Griffin Jr. of Rockville, Md., and William Sully Griffin Jr. of Houston, Texas; two nieces, Mary Griffin Maguess of Belair, Md., andVirginia Griffin Reese of Courtland, Va.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Slowik. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Roof Fund of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
