Donald Lee Cole, 47, of Orlando, died Friday, Sept. 9, 1994.
He was a Peninsula resident for over 39 years but had been in Orlando since 1986. Mr. Cole was a former captain of the fire department at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Va. He recently completed the requirements to become a master electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Cole; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Blizzard of Dallas and Rebecca Poulsen of Denver; his brother, Clifton Cole of Hampton, Va.; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. today at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home by the Rev. Kenneth W. Newsome. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery.
