RONALD O. BOONE

Ronald O. Boone, 25, of the 100 block of Forest Oak Lane, died Sept. 10, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was a native of Suffolk and son of Delma Boone Lassiter and the late Frank Perry. He was also the stepson of the late Ernest E. Lassiter. He was a 1987 graduate of Suffolk High School and attended Elizabeth City State University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was formerly employed by Sallie Mae Student Loan Corporation. He was a member of First Baptist Church Mahan Street and a former member of the Sunday School and Chancel Choir.

Survivors include his mother, Delma B. Lassiter of Suffolk; a brother, Reginald L. Boone of Suffolk; three sisters, Theresa B. Hobson of Suffolk, Chicquita M. Ramos of Portsmouth and Faye D. Sears of Newport News; two half-brothers, Frank D. Perry Jr. of Portsmouth and Antonio Perry of Suffolk; four half-sisters, Lisa Perry, Debbie Williams, Sharon Smith, all of Suffolk and Gail Perry of Portsmouth; a sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; three uncles; seven aunts; a great-uncle; a great-aunt; two nieces; two nephews; and many cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Mahan Street by the Rev. Isaac E. Williams. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garner Hobson, 333 Highland Ave. There will be no public viewing. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
