Bernice Beale Langston, 79, of High Street, died Sept. 12, 1994.
Mrs. Langston was a native of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Livie and Dora Carr Beale. She was the widow of William Thomas Langston and a member of Black Creek Baptist Church in Henrico.
Survivors include three sisters, Edith Senter of Virginia Beach, Minnie Blythe and Eunice Boone, both of Franklin; three brothers, Ocie Beale and T.J. Blythe, both of Franklin, and Fenton Blythe of Richmond; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, June McCoy of Franklin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Neck Christian Church Cemetery, Suffolk, with the Rev. James Browder officiating. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ocie Beale, 36393 No Head Lane, Franklin.
