If Forrest Gump's mother was right that ``Stupid is as stupid does,'' Virginia voters have a chance to prove themselves on Nov. 8.
They can go along with the stupid choices of the two traditional political parties, or they can get independent about their choices and show the world they have better sense than either political party has shown this year.
I'm predicting the Virginia U.S. Senate race will have a Wilder finish than others have predicted.
