Annie Jeanette DeBaun, 56, of the 300 block of Edgewood Road, died Monday in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was born in old Norfolk County and was the daughter of the late Oscar S. and Annie S. DeBaun. Ms. DeBaun attended Rosemont Christian Church. She was a production technician with General Electric Corporation and an Avon representative.
Survivors include four daughters, Angela Wilson of Portsmouth, Victoria Brown of Merritt Island, Fla., Kim Meekins of Portsmouth and Myrtle ``Butch'' Crafton of Chesapeake; a son, Benjamin F. Goins of Portsmouth; four sisters, Irene Carpenter and Carolyn Powers, both of Currituck County, N.C., Audrey Venuto of Norfolk and Renee Humphries of Lynchburg; a brother, Wilbur DeBaun of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Charles Moseley and the Rev. Don Lockhart. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at 210 Belhaven Road, Portsmouth. Oman Family Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
