Martha Lucille Reed, 77, of the 700 block of New Jersey Ave., a retired school teacher, died Sept. 13, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Reed was born in Wilson, N.C., and was retired from the Breezy Point Kindergarten School after eight years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Norfolk, and taught Sunday School for over 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Holger Reed Sr.; a son, Alfred H. Reed Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Elsie Seelman of Richmond; two brothers, Thurman Vick of Jacksonville, N.C., and Joseph Vick of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Riverside Memorial Park. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
