ROSE MARY PATTEN

Rose Mary Patten, 81, of the 5300 block of Stewart Drive, died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Patten was born in Dunmore, Pa., and was the daughter of the late John and Lucy Morrone Morelli and the widow of Glendon W. Patten. Mrs. Patten was Catholic. She had been the president of the resident council at the Beth Sholom Home for three years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Semonich of Virginia Beach; one son, Maj. William J. Patten, U.S. Army (Ret.) of Bartow, Fla.; two sisters, Constance Kell of Dickson City, Pa., and Louise Zwanch of Peckville, Pa.; three brothers, James Morelli of Syracuse, N.Y., John Morelli of Alexandria, Va., and Ralph Morelli of Olyphant, Pa.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Olyphant, Pa., on Monday morning and burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
