Horace White Sr. of the 2500 block of Grandy Ave., a retired truck driver, died Sept. 12, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. White was born in Norfolk and was the widower of Alice White. He was retired from Lone Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia White; four sons, Alphonso, Patrick, Frederick and Troy White; a sister, Elizabeth White; and three brothers, John White Sr., Theodore White and Clifton White Jr., all of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Beatrice Bell; and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Monticello Baptist Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 2520 Grandy Ave., Norfolk, at 10 a.m. Friday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
