Dorothy R. ``Doris'' Lowry, 52, of the 900 block of Eastern Parkway, died Sept. 12, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lowry was born in Norfolk and was the widow of John Lowry. She was a clerk at the Federal Building, New York, and was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in New York.
Survivors include a son, Demetrius Rainey of New York; three sisters, Julia Bell, Jennie Hazer and Angelia Rainey, all of Norfolk; two brothers, James Rainey of Texas and Maurice Rainey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, by Elder White. Family and friends will assemble at 1065 Mahone Ave., Norfolk, on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for the funeral processional to the grave site. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
