Victim's ex-boyfriend said seen leaving area; victim says protective order bars him from complex in which she lives. Police, executing warrant on the man found marijuana plants and charged him with manufacturing and possession with intent to distribute marijuana about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 11.

700 block of 7th St. - 31-year-old man said assaulted and robbed of stereo he was attempting to sell about midnight Sept. 5.
1400 block of Peach St. - 44-year-old man said attacked and robbed between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Sept. 3.
1400 block of Effingham St. - 41-year-old said man asked him for cigarette, then began assaulting him about 8 p.m. Sept. 10. Victim ran into car, trying to get away, damaging car door and breaking window.
200 block of Dale Drive - 19-year-old man said assaulted and robbed at gunpoint about 2 a.m. Sept. 10. Suspects fled after realizing victim had no money.
900 block of County St. - 18-year-old man said someone shot at him about 8 p.m. Sept. 11. Police found no evidence of gun but saw remains of firecrackers.
1100 block of County St. - 54-year-old man said cut on chest and hand while trying to protect 57-year-old woman attacked by son about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 11. Woman cut on hand when she tried to grab knife. Suspect's hand also cut during struggle. Warrants secured for son.

1000 block of Centre Ave. - 38-year-old woman said man she knew forced her at gunpoint to drive to a dead end on Race Street about 4 a.m. Sept. 10. Once there, the man broke down and told her to take him back to his car. When he got out, she drove off but was followed by same man until she stopped at a convenience store and got help from police officer. Suspect sped off and did not stop for police for several blocks. He was charged with abduction, use of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless driving, attempt to elude police and hit and run.

2900 block of Shady Lane - 24-year-old man shot in back, shoulders and chest about 10 p.m. Sept. 2.
First block of Channing Ave. - 21-year-old man said jumped by five people about 5 p.m. Sept. 9 after he yelled at them for urinating in yard. Victim named four of his attackers, then became combative and walked away from scene. Victim received stitches to scalp.
2400 block of Elliott Ave. - 32-year-old man beaten, forced to remove his clothes and robbed about midnight Sept. 10.

3300 block of Portsmouth Blvd. - 16-year-old boy said shot in left hand while in a convenience store parking lot about noon Sept. 6.
Portsmouth Boulevard and Truxtun Avenue - 20-year-old said he and his father were shot at about 6 p.m. Sept. 8.
3100 block of Arlington Place - Woman called police about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 after man stopped car in front of house and started hitting his girlfriend. Man pulled woman from car and kicked her, then fled when witness ran out and said police on the way. Victim taken to Maryview Medical Center. Charges pending report on severity of injuries.
2900 block Watson St. - 32-year-old said riding bicycle about 10 a.m. Sept. 10 when man in jeep ran into him, got out and went through victim's pockets, taking $10. Victim taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and expected to recover.
200 block of Wilson Parkway - 16-year-old girl said boyfriend punched her face and threw bottle at her about 8 p.m. Sept. 10. Victim treated at Portsmouth General Hospital.

First block of Carver Circle - 20-year-old man said robbed at gunpoint while sitting on front porch about 10 p.m. Sept. 6.

3300 block of Deep Creek Blvd. - 17-year-old said raped by man with whom she attended Virginia Beach clubs about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 12.

200 block of Wilson Parkway - Police officers heard gunshots in baseball field about 9 p.m. Aug. 26. 15-year-old arrested and transported to Tidewater Detention Home on outstanding detention order. Petitions were to be secured for possession of firearm by juvenile.
