Major Hugh W. Norman, U.S. Army (Ret.), 75, died Sept. 14, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
He was born in Portsmouth and was a Protestant. He retired from the Army after 23 years of service and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier after 16 years. A veteran of World War II and Korea, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline D. Norman; a son, Larry T. Norman of Norfolk; and a sister, Marjorie Bailey of Narrows, Va.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
