Dorothy Reynolds Morton, 70, died courageously at home on Sept. 15, 1994.
She was born on Nov. 4, 1923, in Portsmouth and had lived in San Antonio, Texas, since 1967.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William Wesley Morton Sr.; her daughter, Gail Morton and friend, Bill Wallace of Austin, Texas; her son, Bill Morton and wife, Marsha; and her very special grandson, Wesley of Chanhassen, Minn. Other survivors include her brother, Chester Reynolds, and his daughters, Jackie Anas and Trish Pfeifer and their families of Portsmouth; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends and family at 718 Ridgemont in San Antonio on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. to share remembrances.
No flowers please. Contributions to Family Hospice of San Antonio or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Beatriz DeLuna, Hortencia Rangal, Lois Green and her Family Hospice nurses, especially Janet, Colby, Susan and Gena, for their care and support. You made it possible for Dorothy to finish her life at home, surrounded by her family, as was her desire.
Go in peace. We will miss you.
