Audrey Vann Dixon, 88, formerly of the 3400 block of Elliott Ave., died Sept. 16, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Dixon, a native of Milwaukee, N.C., was the daughter of the late Johnnie Jenkins Vann and Mary Maggie Bridgers Vann. She was the widow of Elzie C. Dixon and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Elizabeth Vann Branch of Portsmouth; and four nieces, Ruth Vann Bonnewell of Norfolk, Doris Vann Davis of Conway, N.C., Madeline Branch Presson of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Patricia Branch Hudson of Portsmouth.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. A. Weaver Futrell. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
