Helen L. Green, 67, of the 1000 block of City Park Ave., a retired hand painter, died Sept. 15, 1994, in her home.
Mrs. Green was born in Portsmouth. She retired from Anol Creative Artwork Co., was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hackensack, N.J., and the widow of Johnny Green.
Survivors include two sons, David Williams and Joseph Carr; a sister, Virginia Horne; and a brother, Morris C. Williams, all of Portsmouth; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a cousin, Vodie Saunders of Portsmouth; and other relatives.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Sunday.
