Peter Michael Hall, wanted by federal authorities in Virginia on murder and drug distribution charges, was added Friday to the United States Marshal Service's list of ``15 Most Wanted'' fugitives.
An alien and native of Jamaica, Hall has been implicated in the May 1993 murder of Derrick C. Taylor in Dinwiddie County. He is also accused of trying to run over a Hampton detective and a Drug Enforcement Administration agent with a car in Atlanta in November 1993.
Federal prosecutors in Norfolk said in March that they would seek the death penalty against Hall under the federal drug kingpin law.
Hall allegedly was part of a gang responsible for distributing crack cocaine along the East Coast.
Hall, 31, joins fugitives who ``generally have a history of violent criminal behavior and are wanted for crimes that pose a serious threat to the public,'' according to Eduardo Gonzalez, director of the Marshal Service.
Since 1983, 126 people have been placed on the ``15 Most Wanted'' list and 112 have been arrested or located.
Hall should be considered armed and dangerous. He is a black male, 5 feet, 11 inches, 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and often uses the aliases Reginald Dwants, Arowana Tukes and Khalif Oneal. He often travels with females who transport weapons for him.
Anyone with information about Hall is asked to call the nearest U.S. Marshal Service or the federal marshal headquarters at 1-800-336-0102 or 1-202-307-9000.
