GETTING READY FOR SUB CHRISTENING

Edgar Hunter, a painter with Newport News Shipbuilding, finishes a

platform Friday in preparation for today's christening of the

Greeneville, the Navy's newest attack submarine. The ship's

sponsor, Tipper Gore, wife of Vice President Al Gore, is scheduled

to christen the sub at today's 11 a.m. ceremony.
