Virginia K. Bowes, 78, of the 1000 block of Manchester Ave., died Sept. 14, 1994, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Bowes was a native of Capon Bridge, West Virginia.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol J. Cox of Sullivans Island, S.C.; a son, John L. Bowes, Jr., USN, of Point Mugu, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Her remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
