John Dorsey, 72, of the 800 block of Maralon Drive, died Sept. 17, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Dorsey was born in Fayette County, Pa., and was a resident of Virginia Beach since 1955. He retired from civil service at NADEPT after 37 years, was a member of Greenbrier Mall Walkers, a Navy veteran of World War II, and the widower of Helen C. Dorsey.
Survivors include a daughter, Julia Hobbs of Virginia Beach; two sons, Mike Dorsey of Virginia Beach and Bill Dorsey of Beckley, W.Va.; two sisters, Ann Moore and Kate Robertson, both of Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
