John Sullivan Woolard, 63, of the 5500 block of Stewart Drive, died Sept. 18, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Woolard was born in Washington, N.C. He had retired from Asplundh Tree Experts Company as a supervisor. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Woolard and Linda Cecil, both of Virginia Beach; his mother, Julia S. Woolard of Washington, N.C.; a brother, Jasper Woolard of Pinetown, N.C.; and four sisters, Isabell Queijo of Williamsburg, Mable Alligood, Julia Woolard and Gretcha Dixon, all of Washington, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Betty Forbes. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation one hour prior to the time of the funeral service.
