Carroll Brinkley ``Dick'' Eure, 65, of Brooksville, died Friday, Sept. 16, 1994, in a Brooksville hospital.
He was a native of Gates County, N.C., and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was a retired Air Force sergeant and veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Maude Barnes Eure; three sons, James Eure of Ahoskie, Thomas Eure of Lauringburg, N.C., and Julian Eure of Elizabeth City; four sisters, Marie Swain of Portsmouth, Dorothy Edwards of Chesapeake, Joann Blythe of Eure and Joyce Brunson of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Lloyd Eure and John Eure of Portsmouth; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be condcuted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Eure Baptist Church, Eure, N.C., by the Rev. Wayne Whiting and the Rev. Joe Buck. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Harrell Funeral Home, Gatesville, N.C.
