Jamie Lee Duck, 92, of the 27800 block of Walters Highway, a retired registered nurse, died Sept. 18, 1994, in her residence.
Miss Duck was born in Isle of Wight County, daughter of the late Polly Mae Carr Duck and Alphonso L. Duck. She was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church, Walters. She was a 1928 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Nursing and was retired from private duty nursing.
Survivors include two sisters, Nancy D. Howell of Emporia, Va. and Polly D. Redd of Zuni, Va.; two brothers, Lloyd A. Duck of Zuni and William L. ``Charlie'' Duck of Windsor, Va.; seven nephews; and six nieces.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. J. Robert Bennett and the Rev. Steve Bradshaw. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Cemetery Fund, 27882 Walters Highway, Walters, Va. 23481.
