VERA AGNES CANNON

Vera Agnes Cannon, 79, died Sept. 15, 1994, at Sunnyside Presbyterian Home in Harrisonburg where she resided.

A daughter of the late Clarence S. and Harriet Delaporte Cannon, she was born on Jan. 26, 1915, in Tampa, Fla., where she lived her early life. She moved to Norfolk in 1937 where she made her home until she moved to Harrisonburg nine years ago. She had worked for the Beltline Railroad in Norfolk as an assistant treasurer. Miss Cannon was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.

Surviving is one brother, St. Julien Cannon Jr. of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk with the Rev. Steven E. Frazier officiating.
