NICHOLAS T. TRUEBLOOD

Nicholas ``Nick'' Thomas Trueblood, 90, of Coinjock, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 1994, in Albemarle Hospital.

He was a native of Perquimans County and was a retired City of Chesapeake Fire Captain, Station (NU)5 in Great Bridge. He was a member of the Berea Baptist Church in Chesapeake.

He was the son of the late Joseph Trueblood and Laura Ward Trueblood.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Dye Trueblood of the home; five sons, Warren, Jimmy and Bobby Trueblood, all of Chesapeake, and David and Larry Trueblood, both of Coinjock; two sisters, Lucille McDonald of Norfolk and Beatrice Amato of Florida; two brothers, Roderick Trueblood of Blount, N.C., and William Trueblood of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hampton Cemetery in Waterlily by the Rev. Charles Wellons and Colon Griggs. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City.
