Donald Wayne Barr, 75, a retired telegraph operator, died Sept. 19, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Barr was born in Kansas and was retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church, Bayside Masonic Lodge (NU)218 and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia A. Barr; a daughter, Kathryn B. Spencer of Virginia Beach; and two granddaughters, Synthia and Shellie Spencer of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Bruce Minett. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Bayside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1920 Pleasure House Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455.
