June P. Barksdale, 67, of 26440 Pine Haven, died Sept. 19, 1994.
Mrs. Barksdale was born in Boston, Mass. She was the Southampton County Voter Registrar and was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church and a member of the Voter Registrars Association of Virginia.
Survivors include her husband, John Beverly ``Benny'' Barksdale; a daughter, Constance C. Davis of Chesapeake; two sons, John Beverly ``Ben'' Barksdale and Thomas D. Barksdale, both of Courtland; a sister, Ellen A. Hall of Richmond; six grandchildren, John Chase Davis, Jason Antill Davis, Justin Thomas Barksdale, John Beverly Barksdale IV, Robert Paxton Barksdale and William Cody Barksdale.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. John Wimer officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggest memorial donations be made to the Courtland Rescue Squad. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
