You have endorsed ending the annual Virginia auto-safety inspection, assuming that we are all responsible citizens and wouldn't do anything unsafe.
You probably have good intentions, but I suggest that you look at the automobiles in Florida and New York.
Florida has more junk and dangerous cars on the road than any state I've seen except New York. These cars cause accidents. Irresponsible people who either can't afford to fix the car or just don't give a damn drive these cars.
Please support inspection. It might save your life.
