Estelle Brinn Jones, 78, of Chesapeake, a retired nurse, died Sept. 20, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born in Bath, N.C. She was the widow of David Earl Jones Sr., and was a member of West Road Church of Christ in Chesapeake.
She is survived by two sons, David E. Jones Jr. of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Steven L. Jones of Chesapeake; a sister, Frances Waters of Washington, N.C.; a brother, Roy Brinn Sr. of Virginia Beach; and seven grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Clair's Church of Christ in Bath, N.C., by Norman Miller. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven, N.C. Memorial donations may be made to the Roanoke Bible College 714 First St., Elizabeth City, N.C., 27909. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling the local arrangements.
