JENNIE D. POWELL

Jennie Deitrick Powell, 86, of Virginia Beach, a retired art teacher, died Aug. 26, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. Powell was born in Hanover County, Va., and was the widow of H. Reynolds Powell.

Survivors include a sister, Sue Deitrick Price of Williamsburg; a niece, Debbie Deitrick Hooker of Norfolk; and a nephew, Robert C. Simpson of Hampton.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. J. Scottie Griffin. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
