Robert Lee Brown Jr., 20, of the 1800 block of E. Berkley Ave., died Sept. 16, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Brown was born in Norfolk and was a Baptist. He attended Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk. He was a graduate of the Job Corps in plastering and was active in the Campostella Boys & Girls Club.
Survivors include a son, Devontia Owens; his mother, Dorothy Brown of Norfolk; a sister, Christola Peterson of Chesapeake; two brothers, Alphonso Brown of Portsmouth and Kervin Brown of Norfolk; a niece, Kimberly Royals of Chesapeake; and a host of nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends and a special friend, Takisha Owens.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 1804 E. Berkley Ave., Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Thursday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
