Agnes Elizabeth Waterfield Marcum, 85, of Route 8, died Sept. 17, 1994, in Master Health Care Center, Allgood, Tenn.
She was born in Back Bay, Va., daughter of the late Tom and Lettie Murphy Davis. She was the widow of William Waterfield.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel E. Marcum of Sparta; two daughters, Frances Flint and Carolyn Simpkins, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Ray L. Waterfield of Moyock, N.C.; a sister, Eva Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Hunter Funeral Home Chapel, Sparta, by Brother Fate Wilson. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, White County, Tenn.
