Petty larceny: Tidewater Community College, room 504, someone removed a VCR.
Possession of marijuana: Sleepy Hole Road and Bennetts Pasture Road, Sept. 10, a suspect was found in possession of a marijuana smoking device.
Vandalism: 6000 block Camellia Drive, Sept. 10, someone broke a window.
Grand larceny auto: 6000 block Bradford Drive, Sept. 11, someone removed a car from a driveway; car was recovered.
Grand larceny auto: 5800 block Bernhowe Manor, Sept. 11, a man reported that his son took his vehicle without permission.
Petty larceny: 4100 block Berwyn Way, Sept. 12, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute: 3300 block Nansemond Parkway, Sept. 8, a substance believed to be crack cocaine was found during a search.
Felonious assault: 4800 block Nansemond Parkway, Sept. 10, a suspect pushed a man down and struck him in the face.
Petty larceny: 3600 block Pruden Blvd., Sept. 10, someone pumped $11.99 worth of gas without paying.
Property damage: 2300 block Pitchkettle Road, Sept. 12, a man reported that a suspect landed a hot-air balloon in his cornfield, damaging the corn.
DISTRICT C
Strong-arm robbery: 300 block North Main St., Sept. 8, a man said a suspect with a gun took his wallet.
Vandalism: 600 block Second Ave., Sept. 8, a woman reported that someone damaged the front and rear bumper, left front panel and windshield of her vehicle.
Grand theft auto: 900 block Ashley Ave., Sept. 8, a man reported that someone took his van.
Petty larceny: 1200 block North Main St., Sept. 8, a suspect concealed a sports bra in her purse and left a store without paying for it.
Forgery/uttering: 100 block North Main St., Sept. 9, a suspect took checks and signed the victim's name and cashed them for $300 and $200.
Grand larceny: 1400 block North Main St., Sept. 9, someone removed a Tristar cleaning machine valued at $1,500.
Possession of cocaine: 100 block North Wellons St., Sept. 9, a substance believed to be cocaine was found during a search.
Petty larceny: 1200 block North Main St., Sept. 9, a juvenile left a store with pants, a shirt and two other items without paying.
Vandalism: 1700 block North Main St., Sept. 10, someone broke a windshield.
Arson: 300 block South Wellons St., Sept. 10, a chair on a front porch was set on fire, causing the front of a house to catch fire. Damage is estimated at $2,500.
Armed robbery: 100 block Kilby Ave., Sept. 10, a complainant said a man with a gun took his wallet.
Vandalism: 800 block Craig Drive, Sept. 10, someone threw eggs at a house.
Vandalism: 500 block West Washington St., Sept. 10, someone broke a window.
Assault on a police officer: 600 block North Main St., Sept. 10, a suspect kicked a police officer several times.
Vandalism: 100 block North Wellons St., Sept. 10, someone put chewing gum and an unknown brown liquid on a car.
Petty larceny: 200 block St. James Ave., Sept. 10, a woman reported that someone her took son's bicycle.

Felonious assault: Wilson Street, Sept. 11, a man said a friend cut him on the chest.
Assault/battery: 2400 block Godwin Blvd., Sept. 11, a suspect rushed into a police officer with his body several times.
Petty larceny: 1200 block North Main St., Sept. 11, a juvenile left a store with a Fact Plus pregnancy test without paying.
Assault on a police officer: 600 block Mason Ave., Sept. 11, a suspect spit on a police officer after she was arrested for assault and battery.
Petty larceny: 100 block Brewer Ave., Sept. 11, someone removed a boy's bicycle.
Grand larceny: 100 block North Saratoga St., Sept. 12, someone entered a self-storage unit and removed a 25-inch RCA TV valued at $600 and a microwave valued at $400.
Residential breaking and entering: 100 block Brewer Ave., Sept. 12, someone pried open a door and removed a Sanyo VCR.

Assault and battery: 400 block East Pinner St., Sept. 8, a suspect dug her fingernails into a police officer's hand.
Grand larceny: 200 block Maple Ave., Sept. 8, someone removed a Snapper lawn mower.
Possession of marijuana: 1100 block Blythewood Lane, Sept. 8, a police officer observed a small pot containing several marijuana plants.
Hit and run property damage: Hall Avenue and Cullodan Street, Sept. 8, a woman reported that her car was struck from behind. The driver fled on foot.
Grand larceny: 900 block Lake Kennedy Drive, Sept. 9, a man said his brother took his gold necklace and charm valued at $335 from his room.
Petty larceny: 300 block Bank St., Sept. 9, someone removed seven window screens.
Petty larceny: 100 block East Wash St., Sept. 9, a suspect left a store with a hooded coat without paying.
Assault and battery: Davis Boulevard, Sept. 9, a woman reported that her son was assaulted while riding a school bus.
Grand larceny: North Main Street and Constance Road, Sept. 9, someone took a cellular flip phone.
Vandalism: 1000 block Nansemond Parkway, Sept.10, someone damaged a vehicle.
Assault and battery: 100 block Lewis Ave., Sept. 10, a suspect punched and kicked a woman in the face and body.
Possession of concealed weapon: South Main Street Overpass, Sept. 10, a 13-inch kitchen knife was found inside a suspect's coat sleeve.
Petty larceny: 100 block South 5th St., Sept. 10, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.
Vandalism: 100 block Woodrow Ave., Sept. 10, a woman reported that someone punctured two of her car tires.
Felony vandalism: 1300 block White Marsh Road, Sept. 10, a woman reported that her son-in-law broke out all the windows of her vehicle with a jack handle. The suspect then hit the woman in the arm with the jack handle, she said.
Hit and run property damage: 1200 block White Marsh Road, Sept. 10, a man reported that someone struck his vehicle.
Hit and run property damage: Oak and East Washington streets, Sept. 10, a suspect backed his vehicle into another vehicle.
Hit and run property damage: Goodman Street and Center Avenue, Sept. 10, a woman reported that her vehicle was sideswiped.
Possession of cocaine: 500 block Ockawaha Ave., Sept. 10, a suspect had in his possession a substance believed to be cocaine.
Vandalism: 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, Sept. 10, someone broke a car window.
Grand larceny: QVC Drive, Sept. 11, someone removed a Sony AM/FM cassette car stereo valued at $200, an Alpine equalizer valued at $90 and an amplifier valued at $250.
Assault and battery: 400 block Central Ave., Sept. 11, a woman said a suspect assaulted her.
Petty larceny: 1200 block White Marsh Road, Sept. 11, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.
Destruction of property: 600 block Carolina Road, Sept. 11, a suspect threw a gallon of milk and a half gallon of bleach in a store.
Concealed merchandise: 600 block Carolina Road, Sept. 11, a suspect attempted to leave a store with $63.25 worth of candy bars not paid for.
Petty larceny: 300 block Ben St., Sept. 12, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.
Grand larceny: 200 block Cullodan St., Sept. 12, someone removed an Alpine stereo valued at $400.
Petty larceny: Wilson Pines, Sept. 12, a man said that a suspect borrowed his daughter's bicycle two weeks ago. He has not returned it.

Petty larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, Sept. 8, someone pumped $17.21 worth of gas without paying.
Larceny of a firearm: 1000 block Camp Pond Road, Sept. 9, someone removed a Norinco Tokarev 9 mm, eight-shot, semi-automatic handgun from a bedroom.
Petty larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, Sept. 10, someone pumped $16.50 worth of gas without paying.
Possession of marijuana: 2000 block Holland Road, Sept. 11, a suspect was found with a substance believed to be marijuana.
Petty larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, Sept. 12, someone pumped $5 worth of gas without paying.

Residential breaking and entering: 5600 block Mineral Spring Road, Sept. 9, someone removed two Winchester pump gauge semi-automatic shotguns and an Ithaca gauge pump shotgun.
Vandalism: 3500 block Holland Road, Sept. 11, someone broke a car's windshield and side headlights and flattened a tire.
Felony vandalism: 3500 block Holland Road, Sept. 12, someone shot two holes in the radiator of a tractor.
Business breaking and entering: 3400 block Carolina Road, Sept. 12, someone removed a battery charger, battery tester, Sears drill and bits, Craftsman toolbox and wrenches, 30 pound bottle of freon and gauges, ammunition box with wrenches, rifle with scope and 12-gauge single-shot shotgun valued at $1,625. by CNB
