Lena H. Rogers, 87, formerly of the 1100 block of Jackson St., died Sept. 20, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Maiden, N.C., and was the widow of Lloyd B. Rogers Sr. She was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church and the Howell Bible Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn R. Savage of Ocean City, Md.; three sons, Buddy Rogers of Wilmington, Del., Bruce L. Rogers of Atlanta and Dean H. Rogers of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Andrews. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and at 905 Baydon Lane, Chesapeake. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church.
