Helen Fabella Bowden, 79, of the 100 block of E. Randall Ave., died Sept. 20, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Bowden was born in Winton, N.C. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Fleet Reserve Association Ladies Auxiliary Unit 60 Plus.
Survivors include her husband, Frank G. Bowden; four daughters, Carolyn F. Moran and Loretta F. Merchant and Helen J. Fabella, all of Miami, Fla. and Danna F. Wilson of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Philip L. Fabella of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Virginia Vigilante Stokes of Virginia Beach; a brother, James U. Lilley of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. John P. Mason. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and following the funeral at 3528 Byrn Brae Drive, Virginia Beach.
