Garland L. Taylor Jr., 24, of the 3000 block of Hansen Ave., died Sept. 17, 1994.
Mr. Taylor was born in Portsmouth and was a brickmason for Powell Masonry Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona Taylor; a son, Trevor Stephenson; and his parents, Gladys Taylor and Garland L. Taylor Sr., all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Patricia Edwards of Norfolk and Sondra Scott of Portsmouth; a foster sister, Corinne Bailey of Portsmouth; a grandmother, Velma R. Mullen of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Serenity Funeral Home with Andrew T. Jones III officiating. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 3505 Hansen Ave., Portsmouth, at 12:15 p.m. Saturday for the processional to the chapel.
