Jack Hampton Lane Sr., 53, died Sept. 21, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Lane was born in Norfolk. He was currently working for Norfolk Naval Supply Center, N.O.B. as a naval architect for 28 years. He was an outstanding member of Tidewater Area Softball for 30 years.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Hampton Lane Jr. and William ``Bill'' Scott Lane, both of Virginia Beach; his mother and stepfather, Hazel P. Lane Wagner and Edward F. Wagner, both of Chesapeake; his fiancee, Ingrid Sparger of Virginia Beach and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Robert E. Hobson Jr. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
