Roy Fred Pritchard, 83, of the first block of Crawford Parkway, died Sept. 20, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Pritchard was a native of Gardner, W.Va. He was a retired electrician from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was also retired from Maryview Medical Center as a security guard in 1989 after 15 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Decker of Portsmouth; a son, Frederick Dan Pritchard of Clarksville, Va.; two brothers, George Thomas Pritchard of Suffolk and Theodore Glenn Pritchard of Bluefield, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
